S by Solar TB4.61C Carbon Black 2023
Solar TB4.61C, very black, made in China 2023. Solar Guitars is headed up by Swedish metal guitar royalty Ola Englund, who plays for Feared and The Haunted, among others. The 'S by Solar' line was their first foray into the beginner price point: think Squier Affinity, but with eyeliner, anger issues and black nail polish. This one is very approximately Tele-shaped, with some curvier curves, pointier points and a neck built for speed. It plays well: fast and accurate, good frets, lightweight, good hardware... it's very convincing for a basic thing. The pickup doesn't really want to do cleans, but it does crunchy low gain dirty sounds, screamy leads and thicc chuggs with plenty of conviction. Oh, and it's black, with a black pickup, black bridge, black pickguard, black knob, black tuners, a black fretboard... you get the idea. These are sold out new, we've got one only!

The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor scuffs on the back only. The back has minor scuffs on both horns and elbow area. The sides have very minor scuffs on the horns and elbow area. The front has some minor scuffs in the elbow area, bottom corner and near the knob and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 9/42 Moonshiner strings.
