POS DT-1 Distortion Pedal c1995

What does POS stand for? Point of Sale, generally in our industry. Apparently it also has a less savoury common use. Anyhow, this POS chanells the Boss DS-1. but it's a bit more squarewave-ish, kinda halfway between a DS-1 and a Muff. It's hectic and hairy and I really like it. The case is not fancy and it does appear to be garbage, but hey, don't judge a POS by it's cover, I guess?
