Maxon AD-9 Analog Delay Pedal 1983
Behold the fuchsia glory. The original Ibanez AD-9 was originally designed and produced by Maxon, so the same pedal was sold under the two different brand names from 1982-4; these Maxon branded units were sold to the Japan domestic market. It sounds excellent: thick, juicy, warm repeats, a little more subtle than a DM-2 but with a longer 500ms delay time on offer. This one has plenty of miles on the clock but still works just fine. Better than fine, really: it works brilliantly.Â
