Ibanez JTK3 Jet King Bluestone 2008
Ibanez Jet King 3, Bluestone finish, made in China 2008. I love the Jet King series, they're such cool little guitars. They debuted in 2003, but this is a version three, made in 2008. It's got a comfy, rounded 24.75" scale neck with a bolt on join attached to a quirky slightly offset body. The build is very tidy, and the little unique touches like the cool tailpiece, split guard and black headstock give it a 60s-renaissance aesthetic. The P-90 style pickups deliver the goods, with plenty of punch down low and a shimmering treble up high; it's prefect for surf, punk, indie or grunge stuff. These came in some very snazzy finishes, but this is the first bright blue example we've had: very fetching, I must. This is heaps of guitar for the cash in my books, and these are increasingly scarce and undiminishably cool.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has dimples on the end and some scuffs on the edges.. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, dimples and rub wear on the back only. The back has scuffs on the horns and middle of the body and some surface scratches around the string bushings and back edge. The sides have dimples on the both horns and elbow area and some scuffs near the jack. The front has surface scratches between the pickups, dimples around the bridge, tailpiece and knobs and some play wear on the guards and horns.
Overall: very good condition (8/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 11/49 Moonshiners strings.
Fret life: 9/10, minor wear only
