Hudson Electronics Broadcast Preamp Pedal

Not many pedals have set the world on fire in the last few years like the Broadcast, it's certainly found a lot of favour. Frankly, it lives up to the hype I reckon: this sounds superb. It's a pre-amp pedal, so it's usable for a boost or as overdrive, but probably does it's best work at the end of your chain as your 'always on makes it better' gain shaper. The gain control adds meaty midrange heft as you wind it up, and the toggle switch ups the ante on the gain significantly, pushing things in a pretty filthy direction. There's more than enough volume to get your amp cooking and the bass cut switch will be super handy with certain pickups and amps etc. Class A... as in, classaaayyyyeeee, as we say around here apparently.
