Fender Japan Classic 60s Precision Bass Sunburst 2016
Fender Japan Classic 60s P, sunburst, made in 2016. This is a simple and effective bass. The Classic 60s Precision replaced the long running PB62 model, before morphing again to the MIJ Trad series available today, which has different specs again. This has some nice 60s style specs: spaghetti logo, rosewood slab fretboard, tort guard, classic three tone finish. The neck is typical P stuff: fairly fat, round and comfy, works a treat. Tone-wise, this delivers a rounded, warm punch with a thick fundamental note and understated highs. It will sit on the low end of a mix just right, it has that classic charm to it. If you're after a simple working player's bass, this will tick all the boxes.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has minor dimples on the end. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, very minor dimples on the back only. The back has minor scuffs near the neck join, middle of the body and back edge, and some dimples in the elbow area. The sides have scuffs in the elbow area and near the jack, The front has some dimples up from the pickup, scuffs around the bridge and elbow area and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 45/105 Moonshiners strings.
Fret life: 8/10, minor wear only
