Electa Bad Boy Custom Hollowbody Candy Apple Red

Electa Bad Boy Custom, candy apple red, made in China circa 2010. Electa guitars originally came out of Japan in the 1970s before dropping off the map for a couple of decades. This one is a reboot-era model, made for Australian distro Lamberti Brothers in the early 2010s. It's got some very fun visual touches: seven-ply bound fretboard, pearl block inlays, diamonds on the bridge, clear guard, pearl-topped knobs... pretty fancy stuff. The tone is geared towards rockabilly and blues stuff, so it's got a throaty howl on the bridge pickup and a fat punch on the neck. The licensed Bigsby adds a bit of air to the attack and makes for some wobble-action; it's pretty stable and works a treat. This is heaps of hollow body for a slim dime, it's got some magic.
