Boot-Leg JBK-1.0 Jaw Breaker Distortion Pedal
This is awesome: looks awesome, fun controls, stupid name... ask for more, I dare you. It's a high gain distortion at heart, in the Rectifier or 5150 type genre. The level control is obvious enough, but the other two interact in an interesting way. The 'break' knob is basically gain, and it goes from fairly mild to wild. The 'heavy' control winds out bass and tightens things up, as well as de-saturation the sound as you turn it to the right. That combo means you can figure out exactly how open and wild you want your dirt to be, so it will play nicely with all sorts of guitars and pickups etc. Plus, what a lovely colour.
